Condo in Thailand: freehold condominium
A condo, or condominium, is a building with privately owned units and shared areas such as a pool, gym or reception. It is the only way a foreigner can own property in Thailand outright.
Foreigners together may own up to 49% of the unit floor area in a building. The purchase money is sent from abroad, and the bank issues the FET document needed for registration.
